Vet examining a cat

Personalised care for every dog

Every dog is different, from a bouncy puppy to a steady senior. Our vets take the time to get to know your dog, using a calm, low-stress approach so visits feel easier for both of you.

From routine health checks and vaccinations to dental care, diagnostics and end-of-life support, we're with you and your dog at every stage of their life.

Care that changes as your dog does

An eight-week-old puppy and a twelve-year-old dog need very different appointments. Here is what each stage looks like with us.

How we can help

Everyday and preventive care

Routine health checks

A full nose-to-tail examination to catch problems early, at any stage

Vaccines & boosters

Core protection against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza and leptospirosis, with kennel cough available too.

Fleas & worming

Chosen for your dog's weight and lifestyle, not a one-size-fits-all packet.

Nurse consultations

For support with nail trims, anal gland expression and vaccinations, plus they can help you to keep your pet at a healthy weight.

Free vet advice on WhatsApp

Free, unlimited access to our clinical team. Often we can tell you a visit isn't needed.

Surgery and dentistry

Neutering

Timed around your dog's size, breed and behaviour, with a written estimate before you decide.

Dentistry

Assessment and treatment under anaesthetic. Dental disease is one of the most common things we find in dogs, and one of the easiest to miss.

Surgery

Planned and soft tissue procedures, carried out on site at our hub clinics.

Diagnostics and investigation

Diagnostics

Blood tests and further investigation when a physical examination isn't enough on its own.

X-rays

Imaging for breathing problems, abdominal changes and suspected injuries.

Ultrasound scans

Non-invasive scanning to look at organs and soft tissue in more detail.

Cardiology

Investigation and ongoing management of heart conditions.

Common questions

Can I get a same-day appointment for my dog?

Most of our clinics offer same-day and next-day appointments. The fastest route is to message us on WhatsApp. Our clinical team will advise whether your dog needs to be seen urgently.

How much does a dog vet appointment cost?

You can find our prices detailed here. For less common services, we provide detailed estimates upfront. Our team is happy to explore care options for every budget.

My dog is anxious at the vet. What can you do?

Our clinics are designed by vets to keep anxious pets calm, with separate waiting areas, sunken scales so your dog doesn't need lifting, quiet rooms and plenty of treats. We can also book quieter appointment times and let your dog settle at their own pace.

How often should my dog have a health check?

Once a year suits most healthy adult dogs, usually alongside their annual booster. Older dogs benefit from twice-yearly checks, and larger breeds tend to show signs of ageing earlier than smaller ones. Joints, weight, teeth and organ function can all change noticeably in six months, so regular check-ups help us catch problems early.

How do I move my dog to Hello Vet from another practice?

Registration online is easy and only takes about two minutes. Simply provide your dog's details and we'll handle the rest, including requesting your dog's full clinical history.
